Price Rules - Taxes & Sales

Defining an additional tax for the entire Facebook store or providing a discount for the whole store is as simple as 1,2,3..4 :)

Follow these steps and the below screenshot:

  1. Log into your StoreYa.com back-office and browse to Customize design
  2. Click on the 'Currency & taxes' title
  3. Type in the tax you want to add (for example 16 for a 16% VAT), or a minus with the discount you wish to grant (for example: -20 for a 20% discount)
  4. Click on the 'Save change' button

Only one tax rate option? Many countries have 2-3 different tax rates. Luxury tax, normal tax and food tax (V.A.T.) So this system can't be used for my shop that uses three different tax rates.

Hi there. We import the price as it is at your web shop and we can give you an option to add one tax level as well as the option to add a relevant comment which will reflect the fact that the items price is with or without taxes.

Yes, StoreYa imports the net prices, excluding any taxes, and not the gross prices.  And  I repeat, you only have the option to use one tax rate. Or put the message that prices are excluding tax/V.A.T. If you read my first question. This is not a option for me and I am wondering if there is a way around that, or if you will implement it?

If not I'm afraid StoreYa can't be used by me (and all others with the same issue)

Hello, I would like to know, which price is imported to StoreYa FB shop. Some of my prices are with VAT, some of them are without. Could you help me, please?

    Thanks

    Hello Petri,

We import the price as it is at your web store code\feed.

You have an option to add tax % through your store dashboard at StoreYa.com as well (Click on "Customize my store" -> "Customization").

    Hello Emma,

ok, I get this. But when I import some new products to my e-shop and sync with StoreYa, these new products are without VAT. And the "Customization" works for the whole shop so it would change even the right prices. So is there any way out?

    Hi Petri,

We import your products with their original price as it is at your web store. You can change it manually through the "Manage Store" -> "Manage Products" tab, or set tax % for all of the items. We can't set it for just part of the items.
